Flying high

Remember how much fun bubble bath was when you were a kid? Whipping up the bathwater to make a mountain of bubbles and blowing and throwing them around the bathroom. Maybe you still do it. We do. That’s why flogos caught our attention.

Also of course, being in the advertising business, we’re always looking for innovative new ways to promote our clients’ brands.

Flogos (flying logos) are made out of the same sort of foam you make in the bath, but are 3D versions of corporate logos – or any other simple shape you want. They’re fired into the air and can soar up into the atmosphere up to 20,000 feet, to carry your presence wherever the wind takes them.

Think Pink

As September comes to a close, we welcome October with open arms as it gives us the opportunity to do our bit for charity. October is the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the general rule of thumb is – anything pink, goes!

This year, as well as doing our own wear it pink day on the 31st October, a few of us will be heading down to Norwich City's Football Club to help blow up balloons for the Think Pink Norwich Ball. If you want to register to do your own fundraiser, take a look at their website.

We’ll keep you posted on balloon dog's 'pink' activities at the end of the month.

Doggy goings on

Maybe we’ve driven up the hits on google, but every time we turn around there’s another balloon dog video. This one is a favourite. Who knew you should use four fingers when making the perfect dog?

Drum roll please

After much deliberation by our judge Andy Wood (MD of Adnams), the winning prize for the balloondog photo competition went to PR girls Kayla, Karen, and Helen for their 'news hound' entry. Their dog was mic'd up with custom made headphones at the Radio Broadland studios. 10 out of 10 for effort ladies!

The girls will be taking the Broadland crew out with the winnings to thank them for letting them hijack their studio!

Post birth day…

Well what an eventful day it was – new agency, new website and all topped off with a tasty breakfast followed by a litter of balloon dog cakes.

  BD CAKE

Well done to Frannie, Ange and Jem for their catering prowess!

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association…

Special thanks go to Rodney and his guide dog Guinness for coming in to talk to us about the charity. We will be giving a donation on behalf of all at balloon dog, and plan to support them on a regular basis.

But this wasn't the only doggy goings on…over the last couple of days staff have been creating their own balloon dog pictures for our competition, here's a sneaky peek…

Racey BD Sheep Balloondog

Take a look at the album to see them in all their glory.

One of our clients will be judging the competition and we'll be announcing the winner next week…good luck to all those who entered.
