Now, here at balloon dog, we like to think we're Powerpoint Jedis but even James "Obi Wan" Clifton bows to the sheer volume of 'stuff' crammed on this page.
The danger, as Gen. McChrystal so pithily put it, is that by simply "doing the chart doesn't solve the problem. It creates an illusion of progress and accomplishment that is almost wholly false."
As it is in Afghanistan, so often this is true in our own world: simply completing the Marketing Plan isn't the same as proper and thorough execution of that plan. It's merely the end of the beginning. The real work is still to come.
Anyway, let's take that learning on board and meanwhile, just stare in sheer bewliderment at this magnificent beast. Awesome!
